Breaking her silence, heroine Sheela has quashed rumours surrounding her and her alleged relationship with ace producer Dil Raju. Sheela said that she hasn’t been in touch with “anyone” in Telugu film industry from a while and she said that she last met Dil Raju after the shooting of Adhurs where he came to the audio release function. “I don’t even have Mr Dil Raju’s number. I’m staying in the UK for over a year. I hardly have friends in Telugu film industry. Even I come for shoot in Hyderabad, I would fly back to Chennai soon after wrapping up my work. I won’t go out as I’m not a socialite,” Sheela stated.

Ask her about the rumours that she was cast in Dil Raju’s production venture Parugu after his “recommendation”. “No, it was Allu Arjun’s father producer Allu Aravind garu first saw me and asked me to do a photoshoot,” Sheela sets the record straight. Of late, Sheela has been missing in action in Telugu films. Will she make a comeback? “If anyone comes up with an impressive script, I’m keen to do.
