Shruti Haasan In Tagore Movie

It is known that Megastar’s mega hit movie ‘Tagore’ is being remade in Hindi. While Bollywood top director and producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali is producing it, our Telugu director Krish is directing it. Akshay Kumar is playing the lead role. The movie is tentatively titled Gabbar.

But producer and director have been finding it hard to finalise heroine. They have thought of roping in Ileana and Tamannah earlier but that did not materialise. It is said that, at last Shruthi Hasan has been roped in as heroine opposite Akshay in this movie.

While Shruthi Hasan will appear in Sriya’s role, Kareena Kapoor is said to be appearing in Jyothika’s role. The recent hits bagged by Shruthi Hasan both in Bollywood and down south, have worked in favour of her it seems.
