Vishnu playing Villain role in “Manam” ?

The latest buzz in the Tollywood is that Manchu Vishnu might be playing the villain in Akkineni family flick “Manam”.

Sources close to the actor have revealed that Manchu Vishnu was keen to try his hand at playing the villain. As known, the young actor’s father, Mohan Babu was the most popular villain in Tollywood, before turning into a hero. Mohan Babu has donned many memorable negative characters in films. Looks like Vishnu too wanted to try his hand at it as his sister Manchu Lakshmi too received accolades for her negative role in ‘Anaganaga oka Dheerudu’. And what better way to prove himself than to act in the most ambitious project of Tollywood.

“Manam” is the most ambitious film with three generations of Akkineni’s acting in it. The recently launched first look of the film has generated a buzz. “Manam” is being directed by debutant director Vikram Kumar and has Nageswar Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya in lead roles. Shriya and Samantha are paired with Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya. Harshavardhan is penning the dialogues. Anoop Rubens is scoring the music. Nagarjuna is producing this film on Annapurna Studios banner, in association with Reliance Entertainments
