Shruti Haasan to perform item Song in Aagadu?

Shruti Haasan, who is busy shooting for Hari’s Poojai in Coimbatore, might be roped in for Mahesh Babu’s next film, Aagadu, for an item number.

Sources close to the unit say that dates are being discussed now, and she will be performing a peppy item song composed by Thaman. The teaser of Aagadu is already a hit and earned more than six lakh views on day one.

Glam doll Tammannah, who plays the female lead in the film, had said in an earlier interview that she has happy working for the first time with Mahesh Babu, and that it would be a complete action entertainer.

Thaman, the music director of the film, also tweeted recently, saying, “#Sensational news about #Aagadu #itemsong coming uP 🙂 in couple of days 🙂 the whole team is so excited about it 🙂 #superstar#supermass.” Shruti Haasan is paired opposite prince Mahesh Babu in his next film which will be directed by Koratala Siva.
