Actor Jagapathi Babu will be seen playing Mahesh Babu’s father in Koratala’s film tentatively titled Srimanthudu. The shooting of this film is progressing at speed pace.

Shruti Haasan is paired opposite Mahesh Babu for the first time in this film. The makers are planning to release the movie in summer. Yerneni Naveen, Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar and Cherukuri V. Mohan (CVM) are producing this untitled film. This film is written and directed by Koratala Shiva on Mythri Movie Makers banner.

Recently, the team of Srimanthudu completed the introduction song of Mahesh Babu in a specially erected set at RFC. Raju Sundharam is the choreographer for this film.
