Jyothi lakshmi is certainly a do or die film for Charmme. She includes a lot of hopes and cash riding on this film as she is also​ one of the producers. Directed by the Maverick Puri Jagan, this film has hit the screens today. Let’s see however the film is.

Story :

Satya (Satyadev) is a software engineer who falls crazy love with a prostitute named Jyothi lakshmi (Charmee). He visits her home daily and spends some precious time together with her. One fine day, he proposes Jyothi lakshmi and reveals that he desires to marry her.
After seeing Satya’s honesty, Jyothi lakshmi decides to begin a new life and plans to elope with Satya. will she manage to leave her dreaded life behind ? will her past haunt her ? and what consequences will she face once she changes her life style is that the entire crux of the story.

Technical Aspects :

Music of the film is spectacular and particularly the background score elevates the film well. As mentioned earlier, dialogues are pretty sensible and carry the mood of the film well. screenplay by Puri Jagan is crisp and makes up for a few interesting scenes. camera work is additionally decent but certain visuals lack clarity about the set up of the film.
Coming to the director Puri Jagan, he has been making films which also have an underlying message. He delivers a good message during a commercial format but drags it a little during the end. editing by S R Sekhar is pretty spectacular.

Plus Points :

Charmee is the main pillar of the film. The manner she goes regarding her character and showcases completely different variations is very impressive. She is bubbly and daring in the role of a prostitute and is kind of rebellious and serene within the last half. One will easily say that it’s Charme’s career best performance.
The actual show stealer is the young actor Satyadev. He contains a terrific screen presence and gives a delicate performance. He can surely have a protracted career in Tollywood and gives superb support to Charmee during this film. first half of the film is quite bold and a few scenes are going to be likeable by the masses.
Interval bang is attention-grabbing and has been executed well. Hyderabadi film actor Aziz Nasser is pretty good in his supporting role. Dialogues by Puri Jagan are bang on and can hit you effectively. The manner women empowerment has been showcased is good.

Minus Points :

One of the major drawbacks of the film is that the way Charme’s character transforms. when showcasing her quite with boldness, the means she changes herself for good looks hurried up. The means Satyadev’s character is abruptly sidelined in the second half lacks effect.
Even though the film includes a smart message, it gets preachier during the last half. Charme’s speech about prostitutes and also the way she destroys the sex workers racket has been stretched out a bit. Brahmanandam’s role appearance out of place and does not have any impact.
Lack of known faces might also go against the film. even though the songs are smart, they have been placed incorrectly in the second half. There was no need of an item song which spoils the flow of the serious film. Story of the film is sort of routine and has been dealt many times.

Final Words :

On the full view, Jyothi lakshmi could be a daring film that has a message with a twist. but the message is dragged out an excessive amount of. Charme’s power packed performance and a decent first half are large assets. This film will draw large crowds within the B and C centers however is just a one time watch who ask for normal entertainment.
