Babu Bangaram starring Victory Venkatesh and Nayanathara in the lead roles has finally hit the theaters on 12^th August, 2016.  After a long time, Venkatesh is back with a bang.  The movie is directed by Maruthi.  Today we have come up with the review and rating of Babu Bangaram flick.  So, give it a read.

Babu Bangaram Movie Story

Nayanthara essays the role of Sailaja and Vekatesh essays the role of ACP Krishna in the flick.  Venkatesh is an ACP who is after a culprit Jayaprakash.  On the chase for the culprit Venkatesh meets Nayan and falls for her.  The twist in the tale is that Nayan is the daughter of Jayaprakash.  Nayan finds out that Krishna is after her dad and thinks that he just acted love for her because of her dad and breaks up with him.  How Krishna carries out the investigation and catches the culprits and makes his love story workout forms the rest of the story.

Plus points

• Venkatesh performed tremendously in the flick. He lived in his role and handled both comedy and action in commendable way.  He made the audience laugh with his dialogues and acting.
• Nayanthara is looking damn gorgeous in the movie.
• First half of the movie has much fun element.
• Pruthivi is a highlight for the flick.

Minus points

• The story of the flick is nothing new.
• Second half has lots of elements missing, which is a bit boring.
• The movie has quite predictable screenplay.

Technical aspects

Ghibran’s music is good.  Production values are good, which can be witnessed in the songs.  Dialogues are noteworthy and are humor filled.  Director Maruthi’s mark of fun is all over the flick.  He included some serious action in the second half of the flick, which was good too.  The first half of the movie is very entertaining whereas the second half showcases good action sequences.

Final Verdict

Overall, Babu Bangaram presents Venkatesh in the best role he can play.  The character has many shades and Venky did a great job to give his best in every shade.  The movie has got decent comedy.  The first half is very much entertaining.  Finally, if you don’t have any issues with the commonest story line then you can definitely give this movie a watch.
