Harish Shankar To Produce & Direct ‘Special 26’ Telugu Remake

Director Harish Shankar seems to be a very busy man these days with upcoming back to back films at the Box Office. His recent movie ‘Subramanyam For Sale’, was quite a hit after which Harish lately announced his new film ‘Dj’ (Duvvada Jagannadham). Working in this movie with Director Harish Shankar is Tollywood’s Stylish Star Allu Arjun. The Director Harish Shankar is from ‘Gabbar Singh’ fame.

We also heard from our sources that this director will direct the Telugu remake of ‘Special 26’ which was earlier speculated that Harish Shankar has plans to do the Telugu remake with the actor Ravi Teja. However, there was no official statement made about the same. Harish Shankar will produce and direct the Telugu Remake of ‘Special 26’ along with his friend Krishna once he completes the current movie with the Stylish Star Allu Arjun. The movie ‘Special 26’, or  Special Chabbis was known as one of the best movies of 2013 and received critical acclaim starred Manoj Bajpayee, Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher and Jimmy Shergill was inspired from a 1987 Opera House heist is about a jeweler raided by a group claiming to be Income Tax officers. It is the first time that this great Director is handling both the direction and production of the movie. Star Cast for the movie is not finalized yet.

Talking about the Director’s new film (DJ) ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ we heard shooting is soon likely to start from the last week of this month. This action packed comedy entertainment movie will be produced by Dil Raju.

Like the movies ‘Race Gurram’ and ‘Son of Sathyamurthy’ as well as the movie  ‘Sarrainodu’, by completing the shooting for the movie (DJ) ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’, this would be another summer release in 2017 for the Tollywood Stylish Star Allu Arjun.
