Several scenes of A Aa movie have prominent resemblance to the classic movie Meena which was released in the year 1973 and it was the directorial debut of actress cum director Vijaya Nirmala, wife of Superstar Krishna.

While the excellent writer cum director seems to have nipped the story plot of the old movie Meena a little bit, and it is also noticeable that the director Trivikram hascome to beprofoundly inspired from the old classic flick. Also, the scenes from the latest A Aa movie show that many of the scenes and backstories were picked up from Krishna-Vijaya Nirmala starrer Movie Meena.
