Acid Attack threat to Actress Malashri

Sandalwood actress Malashri has filed a complaint with High Grounds police that she had been threatened of an acid attack by three persons from Chennai.

Malashri and her husband, film producer Ramu, own a mall and a flat in Chennai. They have settled down in Bengaluru and sometimes visit Chennai.

Malashri had assigned three persons to look after the mall and flat. She had asked the trio to sell her flat and they had done it. Afterwards, she claims she paid them Rs 2 lakh, in keeping with the deal made between them. But the duo, even after taking the money, again called her and Ramu and demanded Rs 2 lakh more. When they refused to pay it, they allegedly threatened to attack Malashri with acid. The police have taken up a case and are investigating.
