Actor Rajasekhar Refused Mahesh Babu Film?

Actor Rajasekhar has missed a golden chance of his career sometime back. According to reliable sources, Rajasekhar was offered the role of Prakash Raj in Mahesh Babu-Venkatesh starrer Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and the actor didn’t take it up. Buzz has it that producer Dil Raju and actor Prakash Raj had a fallout following which Dil Raju decided to go ahead without Prakash Raj in the film and approached Rajsekhar for the role. Since it’s a father role to Mahesh Babu and his peer Venkatesh, Rajasekhar didn’t accept it.

After calling for truce, Raju and Prakash Raj sorted out their differences and the role again went back to Prakash Raj. Had the Rajasekhar took it up the role, his fate would have changed, feel many industry insiders.

“Rajasekhar would have emerged as new alternative for character roles. Like Legend transformed Jagapathi Babu’s career, SVSC would have given boost to Rajasekhar,” commented an industry person. Stuck with lead roles and being typecast with action, sentiment backdrop films, Rajasekhar couldn’t find versatile roles to test waters. He recently seem to have reconcile and stated that he’s ready to do various roles. But it seems, Rajasekhar “missed” the train already.
