When Telugu biggies are hesitating to mess with Pawan-Venky multistarrer Gopala Gopala, a Tamil dubbed film is all set to lock horns with it. Maverick director Shankar’s magnum opus I is slated for release on Pongal in all three languages including Telugu. I will be directly clashing with Gopala Gopala on January 14th.

I is riding on high expectations and looks threatening to overcome any competition. This is not good news for Gopala Gopala which is a sort of experimental movie from two of the biggest stars of Telugu Cinema. There is a rule that dubbed movies shouldn’t release for festivals as they will create theaters problems for Telugu biggies.

Shankar’s Snehitudu was pushed to January 26th according to this rule. We have to wait and see if the same rule applies for I or not. If I makers refuse to postpone their film, then Gopala Gopala will have to deal with the Shankar mania at the box office.
