Although the actor has debuted long back, his two films didn’t do well at the box-office and Gautam is making a comeback with Basanti after a gap of 4 long years. The film has got needed publicity with many star actors Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, NTR, Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan promoting the film launching the songs.
Chaitanya Danthuluri who proved his mettle with Banam film has directed Basanti while newbie Alisha Beig played the leading lady. The trailer has got good response and the film is a love story set in Terrorism backdrop. The film’s cast includes Ranadeep Ghatla, Naveena Jackson, Sayaji Shinde, Tanikella Bharani, K.S.I Anand, Dhan Raj, Mani Kiran, Dhaya in supporting roles. Apart from directing the film, Chaitanya Danthuluri also produced Basanti film on Start Camera Pictures banner. Mani Sharma composed tunes.
