After Bichagadu, Vijay Antony has become the talk of the town. His selection of movies is appreciated quite a lot by the Telugu audience. So, he is back with a bang. He has come up with a complete new story Bethaluduwhich opened in the theaters on December 1st 2016. Here is the story, review, rating etc for you.
Bethaludu Plot
Vijay Antony is a software engineer who always leads the happy life with his wife Aishwarya (Arundathi Nair). Going into the movie the things will get serious and their life gets disturbed completely and then he joins in the Mental Hospital.
Review
This film is a thriller and the complete shooting was done in Chennai and out of Chennai. This film genre was revealed by the Bike Racer Alisha Abdullah as it was a psychological thriller and he said that it would be on the lines of the hit novel ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’.
Plus Points
- This story is quite new and the way things featuring Vijay Antony and his past are shown and executed well.
- Vijay done his best in the movie and once again he proved with his acting. He shows the difference in acting with the two roles in the movie.
Minus Points
There is a little draw back in the first fifteen minutes of the second half of movie. But when the actual reason is showcased as to why all these weird things are happening and the things go wayward. This type of film loses the steam and becomes a bit slow.
Technical Aspects
- It is seen that the Vijay Anthony’s production values in the film are top notch.
- The locations featured in the film remind the old village in the first half of the movie and it is shown quite nicely.
- Vijay Antony’s background score is the life of the movie.
Final Verdict
This movie has some gripping moments in the whole and the storyline of the movie and the execution are quite new. It makes the things interesting for the entire first half. However, a slow and a bit over the top notch climax spoiled the fun completely.
