It is confiremed by AR Ratnam in an interview, it is also said that the Director Shankar had personaly narrated the outline of the movie Bharateeyudu 2 story script to kamal Haasan at his place. The actor is showing some interest and is willing to make sequel

The director Shankar is in the process of completion of all the necessary formalities and works of the ongoing projects ROBOT 2.0, once all the work is finished from this movie, the sequel for Bharateeyudu 2 may start its course. The director is working with The God of South RajniKanth, of course this is a high budget movie and all the formalities of the movie will be done soon.
