Microsoft founder Bill Gates who was the Richest Man in the World is not the richest man in the world presently as the title now goes to Spanish founder of clothing chain Zara, Amancio Ortega as Ortega’s net worth is up by $78 billion, where Bill Gates estimates $77.4 billion as per records. The Forbes Real Billionaires list confirms that Bill Gates is not the richest person in the world anymore.

Ortega’s Success

This new billionaire has made it big coming from a very poor family. His father was a railway worker in La Coruna and he stopped school at the age of 13 to work in clothing shop for daily wages. His real time experience led him to become the founder of clothing chain Zara. He first started with it in his living room when his ex-wife Rosalia Mera used to assist a lot in this work. He then launched Inditex fashion group where he became the chairman.

Charitable Person

Being the richest man in the world has not stopped this brand ambassador of Zara from leading a modest lifestyle with no extra ordinary luxuries or comforts. He is professional and hardworking and respects his work and his workers. Even though he is a busy business man, he still shares lunch with his employees at the staff canteen and still has coffee where he used to in his earlier days. This billionaire believes that his kids should find their own way to lead their lives. He is a man of humanity and has already donated $28 billion to a charitable foundation by the year 2013.
