Brahmotsavam Movie Review Rating | Story Line
Brahmotsavam movie has finally hit the theatres in about 3000 theatres across the world. The movie is a complete family entertainer with a blend of emotions, sentiments, traditional Values, romantic sequences between the hero and heroines. ‘Brahmotsavam’ probes on the bonding between a father and a son and a son finding out his 7 generations’ancestors.
The first half of the movie completely circles aroundthe hero Mahesh Babu and his father while the second half is all about Mahesh finding his own family ancestry back to its seven generations. This second part of the movie seems to have inspired by the popular novel Alex Haley’s “Roots: The Saga of an American Family”.
The main theme of the movie is outstanding but coming to the narration part, it has become clumsily boring. It is more of an effort to pass off some rambling opinions organizing as a movie. The movie starts with Samantha narrating how she saw the hero and straightaway we are taken to Mahesh Babu and his family that continuously relishes singing,plating kolatamand much more.
The situation of the audience after the first half would be like there is more of enjoyment and fun rather than proper story.The interval block trulyjerks at our mood with its emotional theme. In the second half, hero turns to go in finding his seven generation family that is disseminated all over North India. This concept of the movie is extraordinary but the director has slayed it with his tedious narration. Climax sequence of the movie is quite interesting.
Like in Srimanthudu, Rao Ramesh has given negative shade role and his acting was quite impressive as usual. All the supporting roles in the moviehave given credibility to the story with their top-notch performance.

The movie has released in only one language Telugu across the world including the overseas. Srimanthudu is the previous movie of Super star Mahesh Babu which was a blockbuster hit. Brahmotsavam has exhibited a progressive growth in the theaters and it seems that it will reach the top position on the chart for this month releases. With a budget of Rs. 75 crore, Brahmotsavam seems to be a good pact, as it has already grossed over Rs. 90 crore before its launch date from distribution, music and other such rights. Brahmotsavam has collected $4,25,933in the overseas.

The movie has acquired negative response from almost all the audience coming out of the theatres with tedious expression. Lagging the movie with unnecessary and endless songs made every person move uncomfortable in the theatre. Some of the supporting roles like Rao Ramesh, Jayasudha and Revathihave impressed with their extraordinary acting in the movie. Audience response after watching the film is not up to the mark. The movie has left bitter taste and didn’t reach the expectations of the audience.
