Director Puri Jagannadh has faced the SIT officials on wednesday on the drug issue that hit the Telugu Industry recently. Puri Jagannadh maintained his calm through the intense questioning by the officials, but from the reports he got emotional when they pressured him to find out if the actress Charmme Kaur had also used drugs.
Director Puri Jagannadh said that ‘Charmme’ is not a kind of persons who uses drugs. He said that she is a decent and hardworking woman and put a alot of struggle to reach where she is today, at a point he equated the actress with Goddess to convey her innocense in the usage of drugs.
SIT officers have already send notice to Charmme Kaur and would undergo interrogation very shortly.
