Chiranjeevi 150th movie will be 9th Industry hit?
Megastar Chiranjeevi is considered to be only hero in the history of 82 years of Telugu cinema to have scored 8 industry hits. As Chiranjeevi sets all of his weapons readied such as all round performance, dances and fights for his 150th movie, this movie is expected to be another industry hit for chiranjeevi for sure, as per the trade buzz.Following are the details of eight industry hits of chiranjeevi.
1. KHAIDI: Starred by Chiranjeevi,Madhavi and Sumalatha, this movie was released in 1983. This movie stood as the trendsetter in tollywood then. This film collected Rs.4 crores share by crossing the previous industry hit share of Rs.3.5 crores of ‘Premabhishekam’.
2.PASIVADI PRANAM: This movie was released in 1987. Vijayashanthi did opposite to Chiranjeevi. The movie collected Rs.4.5 crores share by crossing the previous industry hit ‘Khaidi’s share of Rs.4 crores.
3. YAMUDIKI MOGUDU: Starred by Chiranjeevi, Vijayashanthi, Radha, the movie was released in 1988. The movie collected Rs.5 crores all time record share by surpassing previous industry record ‘Pasivadi Pranam’.

4. ATHAKU YAMUDU AMMAYIKI MOGUDU: Released in 1989, the movie collected Rs.5.25 crores all time record share by crossing the previous industry records of ‘Yamudiki Mogudu’.
5. JAGADEKA VEERUDU ATHILOKA SUNDARI: Starred by Chiranjeevi and Sridevi, the movie was released in 1990. This movie collected an all time record share of Rs.6 crores. Earlier, Balakrishna’s industry hit, ‘Muddula Mavayya’ collected Rs.5.5 crores.
6. GANG LEADER: Chiranjeevi and Vijayashanthi did the lead roles in this 1991’s film. The movie collected Rs.7 crores by surpassing previous industry hit share of ‘JVAS’.
7. GHARANA MOGUDU: Chiranjeevi, Nagma and Vani Viswanadh played the lead star cast of this film. Having been released in 1992, the movie collected Rs.10 crores share. Earlier,Venkatesh’s industry hit, ‘Chanti’ collected Rs.9 crores share.
8. INDRA: Sonali Bendre and Aarthi Aggarwal teamed up with Chiranjeevi in this film. The movie was released in 2002. The movie collected Rs.33 crores share including its audio and satellite rights. This movie surpassed the previous industry hit share of Rs.24 crores, collected by Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Khushi’.
