Boyapati Srinu who has seen a great success after delivering the biggest blockbuster of the year ‘Sarrainodu’ is now in trouble. He is enjoying the success of his film and something came as a shock to him unexpectedly.

Boyapati Srinu was charged with a criminal case so very unexpectedly. Former Amalapuram MP Harshakumar’s son GV Sriraj demanded that a criminal case should be filed on Boyapati Srinu. The young lad said that Boyapati is one of the main perpetrators of the devastating incident that took place at Godavari Maha Pushkaralu in 2015.
In that incident, 27 devotees who came to dip in the holy river of Godavari were died due to sudden stampeded. He alleged that Boyapati was giving instructions in a mike during the inaugural ceremony of Pushkaralu and as soon as he instructed the security men over there lifted the gates, which made people to rush and a stampede took place killing 27 innocents.

Sriraj also questioned Boyapati’s impudence in standing by the CM and just give instructions. He also demanded to take strict action against the director on his take at the incident. He demanded Commissioner, Collector, Sub-collector and SP to take action against Boyapati.
Even though Boyapati did not do anything intentionally, he was blamed by many people then for being there and giving instructions on what to do and what not to do. There were thousands and thousands of devotees the day when the stampeded took place and the accident was so unexpected.
Boyapati Srinu is one of the top directors in Tollywood. He is now on cloud 9 with the great success he received with his summer blockbuster ‘Sarrainodu’. His next project is yet untitled. Rakul Preet Singh and Bellamkonda Sreenivas were casted in the movie as leads.
