Drug Scandal : Puri Jagannadh Charmi Ravi Teja and others in Tollywood Industry

Top telugu news channels reportedly published that Director Puri Jagannadh and his close associates are involved in consuming the drugs. The Excise Enforcement Office had sent notices to these members. And said that how the arrest of drug peddler Kelvin has helped them to find these members.

Hero Ravi Teja, his close friend and director Puri Jagannadh, heroine Charmi, Mumaith khan,Cinematographer Shyam K Naidu, Subbaraju, art director Chinna are said to be involved in consuming drugs. Excise officials confirmed that they had send notices to the actors Tarun, Tanish, Navdeep, Srinivasa Rao and Nandu.

From the reports of Special Investigation Team(SIT) about 40 persons from Tollywood are involved in this drug issue. In that there is a credible info only on 12 members. The SIT department had sent notices to above all 12 persons under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropics Substances Act and ordered them to appear between July 19 to 27 for examination and this ‘Act’ enables prohibition department and police to question the person who is using the drugs on mere suspicoin.

Currently the SIT is considering these persons are using the Drugs for themselves.
