Latest update: the Telugu film industry’s director SS Rajamouli is one of the finest directors who have directed several films in the past several years. The talk about him is that the director is said to not do comedy scenes. In short he has been discriminated when it comes to doing comedy scenes. Recently at the audio launch of Jyo Achyuthananda, the anchor Suma praised the director Rajamouli. The director was highly applauded at the event. Then later the director himself satirically added saying” A director who can’t film comedy scenes”. He called himself weak in doing comedy scenes.
The director is one of the finest directors of the film industry but is said to lack behind when it comes to comedy scenes. The few examples that can prove the statement are Venu Madhav in ‘SYE’ and ‘Chathrapathri’. On the other hand, ‘Maryada Ramanna’ featuring the comedy actor Sunil was an out comedy. The director is well known for making high action, intense, drams, sentimental, emotional movies and making comedy did not fall in his portray. He tries to use the comedy scenes in almost all his films except for the Magadheera and Baahubali.
The director Rajamouli is said to be giving more importance to action and intense scenes and also emotional scenes and not focusing much on the comedy scenes and that’s why he is said to be lacking behind in the field. Looks like adding too much of comedy may dilute the emotional sequences in his movies feels the director and also feels that he is weak in doing comedy scenes.
