Kalki Koechlin is an Indian actress of french descent, she work hard in Bollywood in return she have received a national film Award, a Filmfare award and a screen award. She is best known for her character roles.

Kalki Koechlin is very well known for speaking of her mind for example the talk about women empowerment or for her unconventional film choices, and she also decided to speak about how she was sexually abused as a child at the age of 9. She also said the she spoke about her sexual abuse is because people should not feel sorry for me, but she expects those who had similar experience to have the confidence to talk about it. She openly talked about her sexual abuse and also accepted that it was her mistake.

The Multi-Talented Kalki Koechlin, who was in Delhi to collect her ‘special just national award’ for her Amazing performance in Margarita with a Straw, after the award ceremony she was grouped by few unidentified men outside the Award ceremony venue. The report said the incident happened while she was heading towards her car form the award function. While she was walking all alone towards the car the security guards left her alone.

 Kalki also filed a police complaint and have asked police to investigate thoroughly.

After the incident many leading journalist tried to speak to Kalki Koechlin, she refrained from commenting anything about it. She had no security when the crowd descended upon her. She managed to make her way back in quickly. She has also complained about this to the organizers of the event instead.

This incident made a bad remark saying that whether it will be ever safe for women in this country?

Many questions have been raised regarding feminism.
