Koratala Siva is an Indian film director and screenwriter best known for directing Mirchi. He teamed up with Mahesh Babu for Srimanthudu and his most recent film is Janatha Garage. Koratala Siva who is primarily for Telugu cinema has worked as dialogue and script writer for the films Bhadra and dialogue writer for films Munna, Okkadunadu, Brindavanam and Oosaravelli.

What makes Koratala Siva stand out from many successors in the Telugu Film Industry is that he has given biggest blockbuster in their careers to his three heroes.

Starting with Prabhas, the highest grossing movie was Mirchi starring Uppalapati Prabhas and Anushka which was one of the Biggest Hits of 2013 again directed by Koratala Siva (Of course, until Baahubali). The famous Srimanthudu was the biggest earner in Mahesh Babu’s career after two of his flops.  The most recent being Janatha Garage for Jr. NTR which happens to be the star’s biggest career hit.  All this earned Koratala Siva a reputation in the Telugu Film Industry popular as Tollywood, as a writer who writes scripts that boost the career and raise the track record of the lead actor or heroes as they are known.

Koratala Siva joined as an assistant to his relative director Posani Krishna Murali. His first movie as a writer was “Girlfriend” which was directed by Nageshwara Reddy. This talented writer also serves a great reputation not only as scriptwriter but his Directorial potential also made him well respected technician in the Telugu Film Industry. It is said that a film with Ram Charan did not hit the floors due some unknown reasons.
