Like last time, when Mahesh Babu’s film ‘Srimanthudu’ and SS Rajamouli’s directed film ‘Baahubali’ had a neck to neck competition as the initial release were almost same with little difference. And both the movies had a great number of targeted audiences. So releasing both the movies at the same time would be a loss to both the parties. So Mahesh Babu and his team decided to postpone their movie with a gap of 30 days.
The reason for this was Mahesh Babu’s affection towards Rajamouli and also Mahesh Babu wanted a gap for his movies so that SS Rajamouli movie give its best in the theatres and almost all the fans could watch in a month time. And so with this decision, both the films were hit and broke the box office records.
And now the same conflict is about to rise again. Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film and Rajamouli’s Baahubali is again arriving almost on the same dates.
Mahesh Babu is working with AR Murugadoss and they have decided to release their movie on 28 of April 2017 and likewise the dates are again clashing with Rajamouli’s film. SS Rajamouli has planned to release its sequel movie, ‘Baahubali 2’ on 14 of April 2017. So there is two weeks gap between both the mega stars movies.
And so the question arises that “Will Mahesh Babu sacrifices once again for its film by postponing it for more two weeks after the release date of Baahubali? Or will force its team to release it on its official dates?”
Like SS Rajamouli’s big budget movie, Baahubali, even Mahesh Babu’s film is made on big budget. But the question arises will this movie beat Baahubali? As Baahubali 2 is made over one of the highest big budget movies in India and so the team needs to meet the audience accordingly.
Let’s see what further happens and wait for the best. Stay tuned for more updates.
