Mohanlal to bid ‘Goodbye’ to Telugu Movies

Superstar Mohanlal from Malayalam film industry has come back into the Tollywood film industry with the recent blockbuster ‘Janatha Garage’ featuring Young Tiger NTR and Samantha in the main lead roles. In the movie, Mohanlal had played a crucial role and acquired massive response from all the audience across the South Indian film industry and overseas as well.

After his come back into the Telugu film industry, the actor has acted in two Telugu films such as Manamantha and Janatha Garage. Manamantha movie is a full-fledged movie wherein Mohanlal acted as a common man and showed the values of the life. But sadly, the movie didn’t run well in the South and turned out to be a disaster in his career. Later, Janatha Garage movie has made him cover that flop and gained massive collections across the world and placed in the second place after Sarainodu movie.

From then, the Super Star Mohanlal has been acquiring numerous offers from various producers and directors from the Tollywood film industry. But, the actor is not comfortable doing movies in Telugu and is planning to stay away from the Tollywood film industry. The actor is currently filming in a Malayalam film. The actor has been recently acted in a Malayalam film namely Oppam and the movie has become a massive blockbuster hit of the year.

Both the Telugu movies Manamantha and Janatha Garage wherein Mohanlal acted failed to impress the audience from Kerala state. Janatha Garage movie was released in Malayalam as Mohanlal acted in that film. But, the movie didn’t play well in the Kollywood industry and couldn’t impress the folks. The actor is quite unhappy with his role in both the straight Telugu films in his hometown. This is the reason Mohanlal has decided to do only films in Malayalam and not to enter into other languages.
