There are many big heroes in Tollywood who have their own banners. There are also some banners which few heroes treat as their own banners due to a long association and for many other reasons. One such hero producer duo that has a strong association and has delivered 11 movies together is Nagarjuna and Shivaprasad Reddy.
We are addressing Kamakshi Banner here. The head of the banner Shivaprasad Reddy adores Nagarjuna a lot and so has been associated with him for 11 movies. 15 movies have come under Kamakshi Banner and out of which 11 are with Nagarjuna.
Chaitanya Rejects Sivaprasad Reddy’s project
At one point in time, Shivaprasad Reddy has done films only with Nagarjuna. Nevertheless, most of the films they worked together turned out to be flops and disasters and one such disaster is Greekuveerudu, which is the last film from the duo together. After Greekuveerudu, Shivaprasad Reddy has not made any movies.
Now it is said that he is going to make a comeback, but this time not with Nagarjuna, but the next generation hero Naga Chaitanya. It is said that he has approached chay for the project. There are also reports that Mr. Reddy wants the direction department to be handled by Puri Jagannath. But unexpectedly things turned upside down when Chay said no to the project.
It is said that Chay has no intention to accept the offer and so he said no to the project. It is said that Shivaprasad Reddy was shocked to hear such response from Chay as it is much unexpected. Previously Chay has worked under Kamakshi Banner for Dhada movie, which turned out to be a big flop.
The reason behind rejection is assumed to be a tight schedule. Chay is going to work under Kalyan Krishna direction for his next. He also has movies with Indraganti Mohan and with a debutant director Krishna.
