Nagarjuna Akkineni would like to play Vicky Donor

Both Dad Nagarjuna Akkineni and son Akhil Akkineni have lately been in the news a lot. After news about Akhil’s tie-ups with famous actresses and love affair stories have circulated on social media. The Akkineni brothers recently launched the audio release for Naruda Donoruda while Nagarjuna Akkineni is presently busy with Om Namo Venkatesaya.

Recently, at the movie Naruda Donoruda’s audio launch Nagarjuna revealed something that interests his fans. After spending nearly 30 years in the Telugu Cinema, the Tollywood Superstar still portrays the same energy and passion when as his first days in the film industry. As before, he is still open to new and innovative projects. He said, “I am always open to experiments. Had the Vicky Donor story come to me, I’d have done it. The film has good entertainment and nice message. It’s a complete package. Presently, am working on Om Namo Venkatesaya. After this, I’ll be doing a different story altogether. It’s a new genre. The story is so compelling such that I’m not able to sleep since I heard it.”

Naruda Donoruda

Naruda Donoruda starring and co-produced by Sumanth is a Romantic Comedy with Pallavi Subash in the female lead. This is a Telugu remake of Bollywood hit blockbuster Vicky Donor by Shoojit Sircar starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam. this romantic comedy had Bollywood superstar John Abraham representing himself in song ‘Rum Whisky.’ even Nag’s son Akhil expressed his interest in doing such roles.  He mentioned that he does not have the guts for acting in such a movie.  Akhil, who was present at the do, accolades the actor Sumanth for playing the role, “I appreciate Sumanth for doing such film. One need guts to do such film. Though I want to do films like these, I don’t have guts.” the Telugu romantic comedy remake Naruda Donoruda releases the 4th of November, 2016.
