Nani’s Majnu results in Profit to distributors and loss to the buyers!

The trade buyers of Nani’s film “Majnu” in the United States are said to be suffering from loss of about 40%. The movie’s rights have been sold for about 900 k USD which is quite a whopping amount. The huge rise in the price was sold for such rate after the great performance of the actor in his recent film like “Pelli Choopulu”. The source also adds up saying that the movie at the best may end up its full run at around 500 K USD. This results in the loss of the buyers and profits to the distributors.

The third party is at loss and they are the official buyers holding the rights of the Majnu movie. The movie has not done that great in other states like Telangana and Andhra, though huge expectations were extorted with the movie. Majnu movie was a complete disappointment for Nani’s fans and did not really do well when compared to his other romantic genre movies like Krishna Gaadi Veera Premam Gaadha, Gentleman, and Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy. This movie can bring down the ratings of the actor in Tollywood.

Having said so, the filmmakers are also not happy with the response and the openings of the film were considered to be quite decent and in terms of business, the movie hasn’t done well at the box office collection when compared to Nani’s other films. In short, the movie has got low openings and the audience after watching the movie came out with mixed reviews for the film.
