OLA Cabs shocks with 9 Lakhs Bill for 450 Kms!

Ola Cabs are the trending taxi’s running successfully across many cities and it’s easy to get your taxi by booking it online. The services of the Company are excellent and make your travelling comfortable. Here comes shocking news that is exclusively surprising to hear. Here it goes. The company has surprised the customer by charging a lump sum amount of RS 9, 15,887/- for travelling about 450 kms. Yes, you heard it right. Shocking to believe but it is true.  This happened as a customer booked Ola cab for Nizamabad and returned back on the same day travelling in total abut 450kms.

It continues with the story in details. Mr.Rathish Sekhar, a consultant worker on government projects booked an Ola Cab for office work and made a round trip to Nizamabad on 24^th August 2016. The travelling started from Jubilee Hills in the early morning at around 7.57 am and then came back to city at around 5.16pm and took almost 2 hours break between the travelling. On the matter, Mr. Sekhar said,” when I booked the cab the estimate shown on my phone was about Rs 5,000. When I actually returned, the bill showed Rs 9.15 lakh.”

He was shocked as he travelled about 450 kms but the calculation showed a travelling distance of 84,427kms. The OlA driver was also shocked to see and was feeling embraced to show the bill amount to the customer and might give a thought that the customer could have bought two cars in billed amount. The matter was noted to the company and finally the team took three days’ time and worked on the matter to submit the invoice for Sekhar and give him actual bill of RS 4812 fro 450kms. Later, apologies were asked for.
