Pittagoda is a coming of age comedy entertainer of four good for nothing guys who spend all day sitting on a wall. The movie is directed by Anudeep KV and produced by Dinesh Kumar and Ram Mohan P. The movie features music composed by Pranam Kamlakhar. The movie depicts beautiful love story along with friendship. Pittagoda Movie Story
Pittagoda is the story of four close buddies who live in the small town of Godavari Khani, Telangana. They are lazy and are good for nothing guys who just sit on a wall all the time. One day they decide to take life serious and plan to organize a cricket tournament in their area. The movie goes for a twist when Tippu, one of the friends falls in love with Divya played by Punarnavi. He calls off the tournament and differences rise between all the friends and they finally ends up in jail. Why Tippu did what he did? How all the close friends meet again? How does the love story turns out is something to watch on the big screens.
Plus Points
- Pittagoda showcases the true friendship of young guys. Though all the actors are new, they handled the roles very well.
- The funny scenes in the movie are so very relatable and are natural.
- Punarnavi looks great in her role and Vishwadev also gave a decent performance.
- Interesting twist at interval time.
Minus Points
- The last 15 minutes seem to be made in a hurry burry.
- The main point, friendship is not highlighted in the end.
Technical Aspects
The movie has got good production values. Kamalakar BGM is impressive. Editing is picture perfect. Director Anudeep has done a great job though he is a debutant.
Final Verdict
Pittagoda is a small movie that has every emotion. If you ignore the predictability you can give this movie a watch.
