Regarding change of heroine, Tamil media wrote that Priya demanded Rs 50 lakhs as remuneration and that’s the reason producers ran away from her. For this news, Priya Anand got hurt. She said that she never gave money top priority. If she had given importance to money she would have been acting in many movies by now. But right from the starting of her career, she has been selective about her roles. That’s the reason in these four years she had appeared in less number of movies. Priya even challenged to Tamil media that if they prove that she had demanded 50 lakhs, then she would give 50 lakhs to those who proved it.
