Puri Jagannadh Dream Project: A Multi-Lingual

The familiar face of Telugu Cinema Puri Jagannadh is busy promoting his latest movie ISM which is an action entertainer. The movie is so far doing well in both the Telugu States. In the latest interview with a TV channel, Puri made an interesting announcement. The dashing director revealed his dream project.

Puri Jagannath is not only a Tollywood screenwriter, film director, and producer but has also produced Bollywood movies like Shart: The Challenge and Bbuddah… Hoga Terra Baap. He is also known for his works down South for Kannada movies. He won the Nandi Award not once but thrice. His blockbuster Pokiri was such a hit that this movie was later remade in various regional languages. His blockbuster Pokiri was premiered at the 7^th IIFA Film Festival in Dubai. After this, the successful director received national recognition. His first Bollywood Debut was Shart: The Challenge in 2004. He later went on to make Bbuddah… Hoga Terra Baap in 2011. Another honor to this director is that his movie was archived at the Oscar Library.

Puri Jagannath’s Blockbuster Hits

The director has so far directed about 30 movies until the present year 2016. Some of the blockbuster hits which he directed are Badri, Itlu Sravani Subramanyam, Appu, Idiot, Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi, Sivamani, Pokiri, Desamuduru, Golimaar, Businessman, Iddarammayilatho, Heart Attack and Temper. He is the owner of two production companies namely Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies and Vaishno Academy under which he produces his movies. Apart from these, he also owns Puri Sangeet which is his music company as the name suggests.

Puri Jagannath’s Dream Project

Puri expressed his wish to make a crossover film which features not only national but international actors too. He also said he would like the movie to be a multilingual and termed it as ‘’ Hinglish.’’ The actors would give their speech in various languages like English, Hindi and Indian regional languages. He did not reveal when his dream movie will materialize.
