Rajamouli nominated for Indian of the Year Award

Rajamouli, the legendary director in the Tollywood film industry has now nominated for the prestigious Indian of the year Award. His name has become quite popular across the entire world over the last one year. In the year 2015, Rajamouli has created a magnum opus epic drama; Baahubali has smashed the records at the Indian box office. The movie has created massive buzz among the audience in India and in overseas as well. Baahubali – The Beginning has also been screened at the prominent Cannes festival.

After winning the most prestigious National Award, SS. Rajamouli has now been nominated for Indian of the Year Awards for movies that are usually hosted by CNN News 18 group every year.

Rajamouli’s fame and reputation has been increasing worldwide with his continuous hit movies. He is the one director who has become a nationwide phenomenon. He also acquired the prestigious Padma Sri award. This is relatively a significant achievement for a south Indian director like Rajamouli as his name has currently nominated in the exclusive list.

Other names of the contenders for this award that have been enlisted include Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra. The winner of this Indian of the Year award will be announced in the capital city New Delhi later this year. Currently, the director is quite busy in making the second part of the film Baahubali – The Conclusion starred by Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannah, Ramya Krishna, Satyaraj, Naasar and many more.

The movie shoot will begin soon in this month and will continue for 10 weeks. The movie is geared up for a grand release in the month of April next year i.e., in 2017. However, we all wish the legendary director SS. Rajamouli a good luck.
