Rana Discloses The Role That He Dreams To Play On Silver Screen
The actor who received applauses from the entire country with his powerful role as Ballala Deva in the biggest hit ever Bahubali, Rana Daggubati said that he would like to play the role of a wrestler and that it is his dream role. The actor who is now busy with the Pro Kabaddi Championship, when asked about his dream role said that he would like to play an iconic wrestler Kodi Ramamurthy Naidu.
Kodi Ramamurthy Naidu is a very named and famed wrestler who hails from Vizianagaram. He is best known as Indian Hercules. Rana while speaking to the media said that “he was given the title of Kaliyuga Bheema by King George V. I have grown up reading about him in text books and I am researching the man. I would like to play him on screen.”
Rana’s dream role is to play a wrestler
For now Salman played the role of the wrestler Sultan and Amir Khan also played the role of a wrestler in his latest movie Dangal. Salman did a damn good job as a wrestler and delivered best performance. None of the Telugu actors ever tried their hand in such roles to date, but if Rana chooses to do one, then definitely it would be a pleasure to watch.
Rana suits picture perfectly for such roles as he has a great physic and also delivers mind blogging performance, which we have witnessed in Bahubali movie. If Rana really sets to work on his dream role in the future, we have to see whether it can challenge the movies Sultan and Dangal of Bollywood.
At present Rana is working on Bahubali 2. The latest news is that he has signed a new movie under the direction of Teja.
