Since the release of his last movie Bengal Tiger, Ravi Teja is still waiting for the beginning of his next project. The actor was in talks with several directors but none of the projects went on floors till date. According to the newest reports, the Mass Maharaja is presently in talks with Bobby and Ramesh Varma, the directors who had previous tied hands with Ravi Teja for Power and Veera respectively. In all probability, Bobby’s movie may go to the sets first, according to the reports. Apart from these two projects, Ravi Teja also has Robinhood with debutant filmmaker Chakri. However, there have been no certified reports about this project at the instant.

The profession graph of hero Ravi Teja is no less than a movie story. Ravi Teja started off as a junior artist and slogged hard. In few years, he earned the build of a hero and not just that, he also became the darling of the masses getting the name Mass Maharaja. Eventually, he also saw a downfall and recently there was a small relief. The decent reply for his recent release ‘Kick 2’ has brought notice on him and it is heard that two directors are already eyeing Ravi Teja. They are the pair of Bobby and Ramesh Varma.

In 2015, he starred in Kick 2 directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram After this he started a movie titled Bengal Tiger directed by Sampath Nandi. This movie grossed nearly ₹40.5 crore (US$6.0 millions) internationally and also became the eighth highest grossing Telugu film of the year. Later he named Sudheer Varma as the director for his next movie which starts in mid 2016. Also he agreed to make a movie with Puri Jagannadh marking his sixth collaboration with him.
