Yes…you heard it right! Megastar Chiranjeevi was arrested a while ago at Rajahmundry airport, Andhra Pradesh.
Going into the details, Congress leader Chiranjeevi along with APCC (Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee) president Raghuveera Reddy was taken into custody at the Rajahmundry airport while they are on their way to Kirlampudi to meet former minister and Kaapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham. His supporters are seen protesting the arrest and atmosphere there is reportedly tense.
As we all know, Mudragada is on an indefinite hunger strike from the past four days demanding BC status to Kapus in Andhra Pradesh. In the wake of a sensitive environment, political visits are being curbed to keep the situation in control. This is touted to be the reason behind Chiru’s arrest as well.
