Shruti Haasan took a day off from her shoot and drove down to Pune to fulfill a little girl’s last wish Just few days ago, Shruti got a call regarding a wish made by a 17 year old girl Sheetal Pawar from Pune who is battling last stage of cancer and was in the hospital for the longest time. She recently got discharged by the doctors saying that she can’t be saved so she should live the last few days of her life to the fullest. The young girl made a request to meet her favorite actress Shruti Haasan.

Shruti, who’s been shooting for Yaara with hottie Vidyut Jammwal took a day off to go and meet the girl in Pune. She drove down from Mumbai to spend one whole day with the girl. The two bonded over movies and Shruti also gave her a personalized handwritten letter.

Shruti was touched by the courage and liveliness of the young girl. They spend some quality time together before Shruti drove back the same night. Shruti got to know about this through a foundation called Make a wish.
