To raise awareness about domestic violence, an Italian artist Alexsandro Palombo did something unimaginable work. In his latest artwork, He featured the Hollywood celebrities with their faces bruised and battered. Biggies like Angelina Jolie, Kendall Jenner, Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian, Kristen Stewart, Emma Watson, Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna star as abuse victims in this shocking anti-domestic violence campaign.

Palombo launched the series – “Life Can Be a Fairytale, If You Break the Silence ” on November 25 to mark the International Day for Elimination of Violence. Explaining the whole idea behind this in a press release, he said, “The biggest accomplice of violence is the silence, a silence which every year kills or causes permanent disability more than diseases or accidents. Domestic violence is a social cancer that knows no boundaries nor social status, it can affect anyone, whether you’re an ordinary person or a celebrity. To defeat him you need to use the antidote of culture by educating and raising awareness on Respect and Equality.”
Even though the photos are disturbing huge, their shock value will hopefully make impact on those who have suffered the domestic violence and also on those who indulge in it.
