Trisha Krishnan is the new ‘Queen’ in Kangana Ranaut Remake
Nayantara, Tamannaah, Trisha, Samantha and Hansika were the probable names tossed around for the leading lady of the remake of Queen.
Sources close to Trisha inform us that she is the chosen ‘Queen’ as producer Thiagarajan feels she fits the bill perfectly.
Yet another reason for Trisha being chosen could be the fact that either Radha Mohan or Ahmed will be wielding the megaphone. Trisha shares a close rapport with both Radha Mohan and Ahmed as the former gave her the Tamil movie Abhiyum Naanum and the latter, the recent Tamil blockbuster Endrendrum Punnagai.
Trisha is already well-known in both Telugu and Tamil and is making a foray into Kannada with a Puneet Rajkumar movie which might also be an advantage.
Veteran Tamil actor, director and producer Thiagarajan has purchased the remake rights of Kangana-starrer Queen in all southern languages.
Queen is a simple yet strong story of Rani, who sets off on a marriage-less honeymoon and her experiences that change her mindset and outlook in life.
The role was made memorable by Kangana Ranaut with her performance and the actress, who plays the role in the remake, will have to live up to the expectations.
