We all know that PV Sindhu and Sakshi Malik did us proud when they won medals at the Rio Olympics. The whole country was excited about making it big at the Rio Olympics. Telecasting the success and the live updates at the Rio Olympics were all the private and government television channels which did give coverage on the Indian players and prominent games and the expectations the country had on all of the players. There was also a lot of news and coverage of sports persons, games and actors, However, the mega hero Varun Tej was bothered by the fact that out of all of these private and government television channels none of the channels including even the national Television Channel Doordarshan did not telecast or give coverage on Paralympics.

Varun’s Tweet
‘’Shame that no TV channel in India is telecasting the #Paralympics. Forget the private channels, but what about Doordarshan founded by our government?’’ tweeted the star Varun Tej.
He stated that there was lesser coverage for the Paralympics as they cannot spin money and the television channels are lauding over medalists for a few days as they want higher TRP ratings.
