Virat Kohli revealed the Best advice given by Sachin Tendulkar

 Virat Kohli the run machine in the Indian Cricket Team is a Punjabi and he is from Delhi. He was included in the Indian ODI squad in August 2008 for the tour of Sri Lanka and the Champions Trophy in Pakistan. During the Srilankan tour, the both the openers Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag were injured, Virat Kohli batted as a makeshift opener throughout the series. Virat Kohli made his International Debut in Cricket at the age of 19, he made his first ODI half-century as a score of 54 in the fourth match in series which helped the team India to win the match. After that, India won the ODI series against Sri Lanka in the Sri Lanka.

Now Virat Kohli is the current super star of Indian Cricket team, he was called as the run machine and the best batsman of this decade. This star Virat Kohli revealed about the legend Sachin Tendulkar’s advice influenced him to build his career up. He said that his advice helped him to shape his career into a correct shape when he was in depression two years ago. After the match with England, the Indian test skipper spoke to the media and he recalled how badly he performed when the India toured with England in the summer of 2014.

                       Virat Kohli then said that he had spoken to the cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and then he had given him the best advice, which helped Virat to build up his career by concentrating on the game and become what he is today. He said that “The best advice was not to read or look up things that were being said about me. I’m not joking or trying to be sarcastic. That was the best advice I got. It kept pulling me back,”  Virat said by adding to his speech.

                      Virat Kohli also said that “Being captain took my mind more off those things because I had absolutely no time to read up or hear what people had to say about me. It was all about thinking about what the team has to do and that has helped me immensely to stay focused on what I have to do on the field.” This 28-year-old Virat has now amassed with more than 600 runs which include a century and record breaking double century against the England.
